Additional information

According to Annex XI of regulation (EC) 1907/2006, testing for a specific endpoint may be omitted if testing does not appear to be scientifically necessary or if it is technically not possible to conduct the study as a consequence of the properties of the substance. Hydrolytic degradation is not expected for 1,1 -DPE as aromatic hydrocarbon due to the lack of functional groups.

This is supported by the hydrolysis test result with Phenyl-tolyl-ethyne.

Therefore no further testing is justified.
