Additional information

Short-term aquatic toxicity tests are available for all three trophic levels in both freshwater and marine organisms. The most sensitive species was algae in both the freshwater and marine tests. Therefore, algal effect levels were used to derive aquatic PNEC's for risk characterisation. A summary of the results is given below:

Fish Test, Freshwater LC50 = 105 mg/L

Marine LC50        = 71 mg/L

Invertebrate Test, Freshwater EC50 = 105 mg/L

Marine LC50        = 31 mg/L

Algae Test, Freshwater EC50 = 19 mg/L
