Studies on terrestrial toxicity of L-arginine-HCl need not to be conducted and are waived.

L-arginine-HCL is not expected to cause toxicity to terrestrial organisms. L-arginine-HCl dissociates in aqueous solution and when in contact with soil humidity to ionic L-arginine. Direct or indirect exposure to the soil compartment significantly above the natural occurence of L-arginine in soil (soil microorganisms) is unlikely.
