Description of key information

LC50(14d) > 1000 mg/kg dw (nominal) for Eisenia foetida (OECD 207)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One study investigating the short-term toxicity of Fatty acids, C8-18 and C18-unsatd., reaction products with diethanolamine and propylene oxide (CAS 1000817-22-0) to earthworms is available. The study was performed according to OECD guideline 207 under GLP conditions (Liu 2013). A test substance concentration of 1000 mg/kg dw soil was tested in a limit test using Eisenia foetida as test organism. No mortality was observed in control and treatment throughout the test duration of 14 days. Thus, the 14d-LC50 is determined to be > 1000 mg/kg dw soil based on nominal concentrations.
