Description of key information

The maximum vapour pressure of the test substance at 25°C was estimated to be 1.0E-05 Pa using the vapour pressure balance method (GLP-compliant study in accordance with EC A.4). The result was based on only one run because of degassing/condensation issues during the measurements. Also the result was outside the recommended range of 1E-03 to 1 Pa for the vapour pressure balance method. The value of 1.0E-05 Pa should therefore be regarded as an indicative value.
The vapour pressure of the substance was calculated to be 6.4E-05 Pa at 25°C using the modified Watson correlation method. As the substance has no boiling temperature, this temperature (625 K) was calculated from the structural formula. The vapour pressure result for the substance should therefore be considered as a value with a great uncertainty.
Conclusion: the calculated vapour pressure confirmed the estimated result from the vapour pressure balance method.
