Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Carcinogenicity: via oral route

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no study available
Quality of whole database:
For L-threonine mother liquor itself there are no studies available. Therefore, data for the read-across substance Biofert Plusz are taken into further consideration.
As Biofert Plusz was found to be negative in genotoxicity tests in vitro further testing on carcinogenicity is not regarded necessary. Therefore, no test proposal according to Annex X of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 has been provided by the registrant.
