Divanadium tris(sulphate) is manufactured and marked as aqueous solution. Based on results obtained for another aqueous solution containing vanadium and sulfate and based on long-term experience in industrial manufacture and handling, divanadium tris(sulphate) has a potential for corrosion and should be classified with H290: May be corrosive to metals in accorance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and subsequent amendments. Accordingly, it meets criteria for dangerous good Class 8, Packing Group III according to the UN-Model Regulations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, 17th revised edition (ST/SG/AC.10/1/Rev 17, 2011).
