Conclusion on classification

The test substance has measured acute aquatic toxicity values of 96-hour LC50 of > 116 mg/L in fish, 48-hour EC50 of > 122 mg/L in daphnia, 48-hour EC50 of 2.5 mg/L in midge and 72-hour EC50 of > 118 mg/L in algae. In addition, the test substance is not readily biodegradable, and has measured chronic toxicity values of 88-day NOEC of 9.7 mg/L in rainbow trout, 21-day NOEC of 14 mg/L in daphnia magna, and 72-hour NOEC of 59 mg/L in algae. Therefore, no classification is required for acute or chronic aquatic toxicity according to EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
