Description of key information
In accordance with section 2 of REACH Annex XI, the flammability (solids) study (required in section 7.10 of Annex VII) as it is not technically feasible. The substance is liquid. Therefore flash point is the more appropriate study.
In accordance with section 1 of REACH Annex XI, the flammability (pyrophoric properties and flammability on contact with water) studies (required in section 7.10 of Annex VII) do not need to be conducted because the substance is known to be stable in contact with air at room temperature for prolonged periods of time and experience in production or handling shows that the substance does not react with water.

Justification for classification or non-classification
In accordance with the criteria for classification as defined in Annex I, Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, the substance does not require classification with respect to flammability.
