Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Additional information
The test item is a light yellow powder but it is always manufactured and placed on market in solution of isopropanol/water.
The thermal decomposition of the test substance started at temperature 260 °C and no peak corresponding to melting or boiling was observed before this temperature in DSC analysis
The relative density is 1.519.
The particle size distribution of the test item was analyzed using laser diffraction method and d50= 18.24 µm was the result of the test.
The estimated vapour pressure for test substance is 7.26* 10^-9 Pa at T= 25 °C and the estimated log Kow is 5.71 at T= 25°C.
The test item is soluble in water (≥ 1 g/l at 20 °C pH= 10.2) and due to its surfactant nature it forms micelles in water not detectable by visual check.
The surface tension of commercial solution of test item was 15.2 mN/m at T= 25°C measured on 0.1 % (1 g/l) of commercial solution in deionized water.
Since it is a solid, the flash point can be neglected.
The flammability of test item was not investigated due to it is always produced and placed on market in solution of isopropanol/water and the commercial solution is already classified H225 (Flammable liq. cat.2).
The test item is not expected to be auto-flammable, explosive or oxidising based on the chemical structure and the known experience in the handling and use of this substance.
The test item is manufactured directly dissolved in mixture with isopropanol/water. A minor quantity was isolated just for REACH registration purpose (analytical characterisation, environmental fate, ecotoxicological and toxicological properties).
