Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Inhalation of dusts and fumes should be treated similarly to
accidential ingestion.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Contamination of the eyes must be followed immediately by
thorough irrigation, using an eye-wash solution or clean
running water. In all cases this treatment must be followed
by professional attention from a doctor.
Emergency measure - Skin: In case of contamination the skin must be washed without
delay using soap and much water. Any severe contamination
must be followed by prompt medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Accidential ingestion must be referred immediately to a
doctor or hospital.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbondioxid, foam, extinguishing powder, water, sand.
Product arising from burning: Carbonmonoxid, carbondioxid, hydrocyanic acid, oxides of
sulfur and nitrogen.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Only professinal fire fighers equipped with self-contained
breathing apparatus may enter the fire area.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid contact with the product - do not breath fumes or
dusts. Keep away ignition sources - do not smoke. Use
personal protective equipment. Do not wash away product, but
remove immediately preferably using a vacuum cleaner. Avoid
the creation of dust. Clean contaminated surface and
equipment with moist cloth. Transfer contaminated cleaning
materials and contaminated packaging materials into a sealed
container and dispose of safely.
Handling and storage
Handling: The instructions, which are specific for the product, the
handling process and the equipment used, must be followed.
That includes e.g.: Avoid leakages of and personal contact
with the product, do not breath fumes and dusts, use
personal protective equipment, keep workplace clean and in
good order, keep away ignition sources.
Storage: Store only packs, which are clean, undamaged, densly closed
and properly labeled. Don't store together with
pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs and animal feeds. Store cool and
dry. Avoid ignition sources - do not smoke.
