First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move subject to fresh air. Give oxygen or artificial
respiration if needed.
Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eyes immediately under running water for 15 minutes.

Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Alcohol foam, CO2, dry chemical.
Product arising from burning: If burned may emit toxic fumes including oxides of carbon
and acrylates.

Protective equipment: Use normal procedures for flammable solid fires. Wear self
contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Spilled material should be swept up and collected for
disposal. To clean contaminated floors, flush with abundant
quantities of water into sewer of waste treatment system if
permitted by and local regulations. If not permitted,
collect water and treat.
Handling and storage
Handling: The substance will only be handled by trained personnel.
Exposure is minimal. Respiratory, skin and eye contact are
avoided by using a respirator, chemical resistant gloves
suitable protective clothing and chemical goggles.
Mechanical room ventilation is provided.
Storage: The substance should be stored at room temperature
(ca.20°C). Avoid storing the substance for longer that one
year.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The preparation is packaged into either one gallon or one
quart bottles, which are then put in a cardboard box.

- Remarks:
- Transport: The preparation is non-flammable and non-hazardous. Use
plastic or plastic-lined drums during transport. Containers
should be stored upright and secured against falling down.
Containers should be suitably labelled and sealed.
Do not expose to any UV light source.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: Avoid moisture, oxidants, acids, bases heat sparks and
flame.
Pressure may build-up in closed containers. This is
accelerated by heat with possible liberation of flammable
vapors.
Chemical reaction with water: None known.
Dust explosion: Not applicable. The polymer will exist on the E.U. market in
a preparation as a solution.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Due to the low concentration of the substance in the product
formulation, recovery would not be effective. Contaminated
product cannot be recycled in most cases.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Contaminated containers or spillages of the preparation
mixed with inert material (e.g.sand or soil) may be disposed
of at an authorised tip in accordance with local
regulations.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The usual route to destruction of this material is by
dissolution into a cleaning or wash solvent followed by
incineration.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: In the unlikely event that the preparation should enter the
water treatment systems, contaminated water should be
treated by means of flocculation precipitation. The
precipitated material should be incinerated.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None known.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable as the substance will not be used by the
general public.
