Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: If exposed to fumes from overheating or combustion, remove
to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical
attention immediately.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of
water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the
upper and lower eyelids. If you use contact lenses, flush
eyes after taking off the contact lenses. Get medical
attention immediately.
Emergency measure - Skin: The compound is not likely to be hazardous by skin contact
but cleansing the skin after use is advisable.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: No specific intervention is indicated as compound is not
likely to be hazardous by ingestion. Consult a physician if
necessary.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, Foam, Dry Chemical, CO2.
Product arising from burning: Alcohol fumes, carbonyl fluoride, hydrogen fluoride (HF),
and acid fluorides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Keep personnel removed and upwind of fire. Wear self-
contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and full protective
equipment.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Use appropriate PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT during clean-
up. Evacuate personnel, thoroughly ventilate area, and use
self contained breathing apparatus. Recover undamaged and
minimally contaminated material for reuse and reclamation.
Shovel or seep up. Sweep up to avoid slipping hazard.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid contact with eyes. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Storage: Store out of direct sunlight in a climate-controlled
environment. Maintain at 10 to 30°C, and 30 to 70 % relative
humidity. Keep away from flammable materials.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Film/PETin styten bag--carton box 30cm x 50m or 100m
Liq. Polyetheylenbottle 1 strong acid lit, 5lit
corrosive liq.
