Test solutions

Details on test solutions:
The test substance was wetted with ethanol (0.1 ml/L), then water was added and the mixture was homogenized with an ultra-turrax. This mixture was tipped into the testing container and stirred. The test substance was not dissolved completely; there were residues at the wall and on the bottom.
The concentration refers to the total amount of test substance added into the test vessels.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
Based on a LC50 = 596 mg/L it is not required to classify Acetchinonbase TTRS for acute toxicity to fish
Executive summary:

Acetchinonbase TTRS was tested for acute toxicity against Brachydanio rerio acc. OECD 203 in concentrations of 350, 500, 710 and 1000 mg/L for 96 hours. With 500 - 1000 mg/L symptoms and letality occured, with 350 mg/L only symptoms but no lethality occured.

Based on these resultsa LC50 value could be estiamated by Probit Analysis . LC50 = 596 mg/L (526 - 675 mg/L).
