Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The ion exchanger can be regenerated by adding stochiometric

amounts of NaOH. Then it can be reused (more than 300

times). The substance can be disposed of at a waste disposal

site or by incineration.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not necessary.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: As far as the material is not contaminated, it may be

littered on a normal waste site (as ion exchanger with

styrene matrix).

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: In incineration plants with HCl absorber.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Product does not enter the public domain.
