- key study
- Study period:
- From 2008-07-03 to 2008-10-17
- Reliability:
- 1 (reliable without restriction)
- Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
- guideline study
- Remarks:
- The study was conducted according to an internationally recognised method, and under GLP. No deviation affected the good quality of the study. The substance is considered to be adequately characterised with its purity. Therefore full validation applies.

- Type:
- relative density
- Density:
- 1.081 other: relative density has no dimension
- Temp.:
- 20 °C
- Conclusions:
- The substance is slightly more dense than water.
- Executive summary:
The density of the test substance was measured under GLP according OECD 109 / EU A3 guideline, gas comparison pycnometer method.
After triplicate calibration, two independant samples were measured in triplicate, and the mean density at 20.2°C was calculated to be 1.081 g/cm3. This results was then converted to relative density towards water at 4°C.
Reference
All manipulations were performed at 20.2°C +/- 0.1°C.
