In accordance with Annex IX, Column 2, Section 9.2, further biotic degradation testing shall only be proposed if the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I indicates the need to investigate further the degradation of the substance and its degradation products. The conclusion of human health and environmental hazard assessment was that the substance is not classified for these potential hazards, similarly the PBT assessment concluded that the substance was not PBT or vP/vB. It is therefore concluded that the chemical safety assessment does not indicate the need to further investigate biotic degradation and no further studies are proposed.
