Conclusion on classification

N,N'-[(methylimino)bis(trimethylene)]bis(stearamide) has a measured water solubility: of 10 – 500 µg/L and a Log Kow of 5.78.

Acute aquatic toxicity studies in daphnia and algae showed no hazard for the substance up to maximum solubility.

In a biodegradation test according to OECD 301 F, the substance was proven to be readily biodegradable.

In conclusion no classification for aquatic toxicity according to GHS Regulation EC No 1272/2008 is required.
