Additional information

The surface tension of the substance was evaluated according to the ring method following the OECD Guideline 115 and ISO 304:1985. The substance was transfered as is in a glass cup. Sample analysis were performed in triplicate on three different sample aliquots. With the aid of suspended platinum ring of 6 cm of circumference (0.3 mm thickness) posed in contact with sample free surface, the digital tensiometer measured the force required to raise the ring from liquid surface and to draw up the liquid film formed from this contact.

Surface tension of pure liquid at 22 °C is 36.19 mN/m.
