First-aid measures
If inhaled:
- Move affected person to fresh air.
- Rinse nose and mouth with water.
- In case of irritation of respiratory system or mucous membranes, or if feeling unwell or in case of prolonged exposure, call a doctor/physician.
On skin contact:
- Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water.
- Revove immediately contaminated clothing and shoes.
- Seek medical advice if irritation develops.
On eye contact:
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.
Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do.
Continue rinsing at least for 15 minutes and call a doctor/physician.
Ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting.
See a doctor/physician immediately.
Note to physician:
None
Personal protective equipment for first aider:
Not critical.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
- Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, foam, carbon dioxide or dry chemical agents.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Strong water jet.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
- Hazardous combustion products: Smoke, fumes, carbon oxides, phosphorus oxides
Advice for firefighters:
- Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing for chemicals.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
- Remove all sources of ignition.
- For emergency responders: Wear protective clothing and equipment to prevent inhalation of dust and skin and eye contact.
Environmental precautions:
- Do not allow to enter public drains and watercourses.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
- Use mechanical handling equipment.
- Collect the spilled product into suitable containers and keep them closed.
- Avoid dust generation.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Ensure good ventilation.
- Keep container closed.
- Avoid dust formation and sources of ignition/open flames.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
- Store dry, cool and away from oxidizing agents.
- Keep container closed in a well ventilated place.
Specific end use(s):
- No further recommendations
