Conclusion on classification

Since the 96 hr LC50 for fish, the 48 hr EC50 for crustacea as well as the ErC50 for algae < 1 mg/l, the substance should be classified as Acute aquatic toxic Category 1. As the EC50 for algae is ≤ 0,1, the M factor is 10. Since the chronic effect level (ChV) for fish is = 0.01 mg/l and the substance is rapidly degradable, the substance should be classified as Chronic aquatic toxic Category 1 with an M factor of 1.
