Discussion
Thermal analysis confirmed no phase transitions or significant thermal events when the test item was heated to a temperature of 450 °C, with the residue appearance for each determination remaining as a dark blue powder.
Conclusion
The melting point of the test item has been determined to be greater than 450 °C (> 723 K).
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The melting/freezing point of the substance was > 450 °C
- Executive summary:
A test according to OECD TG 102 was conducted. Specifically using differential scanning calorimetry. The measure was conducted in duplicate. The accuracy of the test procedure was checked with two reference substnces, zinc and indium.
The metling/freezing point of the substance was determined to be > 450 °C.
