- Preliminary tests:
IIn a preliminary test the test substance was easily soluble in water. As a consequence of this result the flask method was applied for the final test.
Results:
As mentioned above , the solubility of “D-VAL-DANE” in distilled water 20°C could not be determinate because the solution got such a high viscosity that further handling of the solution was not possible.
The following concentrations were measured in the filtered solution: 756,829,989,1132,1052,688 and 776g/l. The high scattering of the values is due to the difficulties of pipetting sich high viscous solution.
The pH of the solution was 10.8 at 20°C.
At 30°C the same results were obtained. Again concentrations of more than 700 g/l were found, but a saturation was not obtained.
Conclusion:
The saturation mass concentration of “D-VAL-DANE” in distilled water at 20°C was higher than 700 g/l
