1,6 -Hexanediol diglycidylether was biodegraded approximately 47% in an O.E.C.D. Testing Guideline 301D Closed Bottle biodegradatioin study. Expert Judgement suggests that 1,6 -Hexanediol diglycidylether is inherently biodegradable under appropriate treatment conditions. The outcome of the Chemical Safety Assessment finds that no further biodegradation testing is necessary.
