Description of key information

The acute toxicity of the test substance Triethanol amineacetate to carp (Cyprinus carpio) was determined in a 96-hour static test according the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals No. 203, adopted July 17, 1992, and Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.

In a limit test, seven fish were exposed to a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L or a control. No mortalities or clinical signs were observed at the regulatory limit concentration of 100 mg/L.

Based on the results of this study, the 96-hour LC50 of Triethanol amineacetate to carp was > 100 mg/L.
