Administrative data
First-aid measures
INHALATION :
If you feel unwell, remove to fresh air immediately. Get medical attention if cough or other symptoms develop.
EYE CONTACT :
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water (15 min.), occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.
SKIN CONTACT :
Get medical aid. Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
INGESTION :
Get medical aid. Wash mouth out with water.
Fire-fighting measures
General Information:
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear.
Accidental release measures
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS:
Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel away. Remove all sources of ignition. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as specified in section "Exposure controls and personal protection". Forms slippery surfaces on floors, posing an accident risk.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS:
Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/groundwater or generally enter the environment.
CLEAN-UP METHODS:
Use non-sparking tools and equipment. Vacuum or sweep up material or pick up mechanically. When picked up, treat material as prescribed under heading "Disposal considerations".
Handling and storage
Handling
Advice on safe handling:
Use in well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat, sparks, and flame. Use explosion-proof electrical equipment. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Provide hand and eye wash station near work area. Wash thoroughly after handling. Use under local exhaust. The product on the floor could present a slipping hazard. Good housekeeping must be observed to prevent this.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Dust can form an explosive mixture with air. Take precautionary measures against static charges. Keep away from sources of heat and ignition.
Storage
Keep away from heat, flame, and all sources of ignition. Store in dark, cool and well-ventilated area. Store indoors. Store product in closed containers.
Packaging Material: Aluminum bag, plastic containers, plastic bags, plastic-lined paper bags.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respiratory protection:
If workplace exposure limits are exceeded, a respiration protection approved for this particular job must be worn. In case of dust formation, take appropriate measures for breathing protection in the event workplace threshold values are not specified.
Hand protection
In case of intensive contact, wear protective gloves (EN 374). Sufficient protection is given wearing suitable protective gloves checked according to i.e. EN 374, in the event of risk of skin contact with the product . Before use, the protective glove should be tested in any case for its specific work-station suitability (i.e. mechanical resistance, product compatibility and antistatic properties). Adhere to the manufacturer’s instructions and information relating to the use, storage, care and replacement of protective gloves. Protective gloves shall be replaced immediately when physically damaged or worn. Design operations thus to avoid permanent use of protective gloves.
Appropriate Material:nitrile
Material thickness:>0,3mm
Breakthrough time:>480min.
Appropriate Material:rubber
Material thickness: >0,5mm
Breakthrough time: >240min.
Eye protection
Safety glasses (EN 166)
Skin protection
Clothing as usual in the chemical industry.
General protective and hygiene measures
Do not eat, drink or smoke during work time. Keep away from foodstuffs and beverages. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Have eye wash fountain available. Do not inhale dust.
Stability and reactivity
Stable under normal conditions.
Incompatible materials and conditions to avoid: Oxidizing materials, heat.
Disposal considerations
Product: Allocation of a waste code number, according to the European Waste Catalogue, should be carried out in agreement with the regional waste disposal company.
Packaging: Residuals must be removed from packaging and when emptied completely disposed of in accordance with the regulations for waste removal. Incompletely emptied packaging must be disposed of in the form of disposal specified by the regional disposer.
