Administrative data
First-aid measures
4.1 Description of first aid measures:
After inhalation: Remove to fresh air and keep at rest. If breathing is difficult, immediately call medical assistance.
Give oxygen or artificial respiration.
After skin contact: Immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
After eyes contact: Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
After ingestion: Call medical assistance.
Never induce vomiting an unconscious person to avoid any respiratory tracts obstruction. In this case, place the person in recovery position and keep warm until the arrival of the medical assistance.
If person is conscious, rinse out mouth with water.
4.2 Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
After inhalation: irritation could occur, when high concentration of vapour.
After contact with skin: irritation could occur, in case of prolonged contact.
After eye contact: serious irritation could occur, in case of prolonged contact.
After swallowing: unidentified.
4.3 Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
No immediate medical care or special treatment was identified.

Fire-fighting measures
5.1 Extinguishing media:
Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or polymer foam.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water jet
5.2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Substance is not flammable. However, in a fire, it can decompose, giving off toxic fumes of carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
5.3 Advice for firefighters / responders:
Firefighting responders should equip themselves with a complete body and heat resistant protective equipment and self contained breathing apparatus (EN 137 / EN 145 - NIOSH/MSHA approved in USA).
Water should be applied to cool containers that are exposed to flames.
Keep run-off water out of sewers and water sources.
Accidental release measures
6.1 Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Ventilate contaminated area.
Avoid contact with the substance. Avoid inhalation.
Remove from spill site any person whose presence is not necessary. Keep upwind.
The others should wear protective cloth, respirator, chemical safety goggles, rubber boots and rubber gloves.
6.2 Environmental precautions:
Shut off leaks if without risk. Prevent liquid from entering the environment.
Do not flush spill area with plenty of water before picking-up, to avoid contamination of the watercourses and low areas.
6.3 Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
Pump the largest quantity of spilled product in a drum (use an explosion proof pump). This product should be disposed.
Absorb the last traces of liquid on sand or vermiculite and place in tightly closed and labelled drums/containers for disposal.
Wash spill site with plenty of water after material pickup is complete.
Handling and storage
7.1 Precautions for safe handling:
Handle and use only in well-ventilated areas. Safety shower and eyewash fountain should be available.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Avoid inhalation. Avoid repeated or prolonged exposure.
Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep apart working clothes.
7.2 Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Technical measures: The ground of the storage area must be waterproof and form retention basin.
Storage conditions: Keep containers tightly closed. The product should be stored under nitrogen or argon. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area.
Incompatible materials: Keep away from oxidising agents or strong bases.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Engineering measures: The use of local exhaust is recommended to avoid vapour emissions.
2. Eyes / Face protection: Chemical safety goggles with side shields (EN 166)
3. Skin protection: Suitable protective body clothing (EN 14605 in case of splashes)
4. Hand protection: In case of limited contact or for a protection against splashes: gloves with minimum protection index of 2 (permeation time > 30 min according to EN 374): butyl rubber, PVC. Disposal considerations
13.1 Waste treatment methods:
Product residues: Do not reject in natural environment. Burn in a chemical incinerator equipped with an afterburner and scrubber.
Contaminated packaging: Empty containers/drums should be handled with the same precautions than the full ones.
Contaminated packaging have to be disposed in a site approved for chemical and hazardous waste or burned in a specialised burning centre.
In every case, the wastes must be disposed in accordance with local regulations.
