Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eyes:
Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.
Skin:
Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes
while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
Ingestion:
Get medical aid. Wash mouth out with water.
Inhalation:
Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. If not breathing,
give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid.
Notes to Physician: -
Fire-fighting measures
General Information:
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in
pressure-demand.
Extinguishing Media:
In case of fire, use water, dry chemical, chemical foam, or
alcohol-resistant foam.
Accidental release measures
Spills/Leaks:
Absorb spill with inert material (e.g. vermiculite, sand or earth),
then place in suitable container asa hazardous waste.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Avoid ingestion and
inhalation.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container closed when not in use.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering Controls: Use adequate ventilation to keep airborne concentrations low.
Personal Protective Equipment
Eyes:Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles as described by eye and face protection regulations in European Standard EN166.
Skin:Wear appropriate protective gloves to prevent skin exposure.
Clothing: Wear appropriate protective clothing to minimize contact with skin.
Respirators:
Wear respirators according to European Standard EN 149 approved full-facepiece airline respirator in the
positive pressure mode with emergency escape provisions.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical Stability: stable under normal temperatures and pressures
Conditions to Avoid: Incompatible materials
Incompatibilities with Other Materials:Oxidizing agents, reducing agents, bases.
Hazardous Decomposition Products:Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide. Nitrogen oxides.
Disposal considerations
Dispose of in a manner consistent with federal, state, and local regulations.
