Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 104 using the dynamic method. The vapour pressure was calculated to be 0.02 hPa at 20°C, 0.04 hPa at 25°C and 0.3 hPa at 50°C, respectively.

In a supporting study a vapour pressure curve was recorded and the parameters for the Antoine equation were determined. Using the Antoine equation the vapour pressure at 20°C was calculated to be 0.02 hPa. The mean relative deviation of the measured data from the calculated data was 0.631 %.

In addition, the Hommel handbook for dangerous goods reports the vapour pressure to be below 1 mbar at 50°C and the GESTIS database reports the vapour pressure to be below 1 mbar at 20°C. A vapour pressure of 0.02 Pa was chosen as key value for chemical safety assessment as it was from the most reliable study.
