Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Burning time:
5 min

Preliminary test:

For the preliminary test according to the UN Transport Regulation and to GHS I CLP Regulation the test is performed as described above. As ignition source, a flame was applied on the test item until it ignites or for at least 5 minutes. The main test has to be performed in case the test item burns over a distance of 200 mm within 20 minutes. Otherwise, the test item should not be classified as readi/y combustible solid in Class 4, Division 4.1 of the UN Transportation Regulation and as flammable solid according to GHS I CLP Regulation, respectively.

Main Test:

ln the preliminary test the test item could not be ignited by a flame within 5 min. Thus, the performance of the main testwas not necessary.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The test item does not have to be classified as flammable solid.
Executive summary:

According to UN Test N.1 the test item Reaction mass of disodium sulphonatoacetate and dichromium tris(sulphate) could not be ignited applying a flame as ignition source for at least 5 min. The test item is classified as follows: UN Transport Regulation: The test item does not have tobe classified as readily combustible solid in Class 4, Division 4.1 - Flammable solids according to the UN Transport Regulation.

GHS I Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008: Annex 1: 2.7: The test item does not have to be classified as flammable solid according to GHS I Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008: Annex 1: 2.7, respectively.
