Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The bioaccumulation potential is estimated using EpiSuite v 4.1.1. for the substance N-(Oleyl alkyl)- 1,3-propanediamine mono oleates (CAS No. 40027 -38 -1).

Episuite estimates the BCF potential of the substance with the model for ionic compounds which assigns a log BCF based on the log Kow cut-off > 9 and includes a correction for the presence of long alkyl chains ("Log BCF = 1.85; ionic, 11 or more -CH2- groups"). The calculated BCF of 70.8 L/kg indicates a low potential for bioaccumulation in biota. Episuite estimates a log Kow of 15, and a very low water solubility (Water Sol (v1.01 est): 6.0707e-007 mg/L) which could be taken as an indicator of reduced bioconcentration due to a low bioavailability as well.
