Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The test item is a mixture of homologues. lt is evident that each of the single components of this mixture shows different properties, in particular concerning partition coefficient n-octanol/water (Pow). Due to this and because the test item is only partially soluble in water (see GLP study no. 15L00119 from Competence Center Analytics, BASF SE, D-67056 Ludwigshafen), the determination of the log Pow corresponding to the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 107 (shake flask method) is not feasible. Because the test item cannot be chromatographed under the prescribed conditions the HPLCmethod (OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 117) is also not feasible. Due to this, the log Pow can only be estimated from the single solubilities of the test item in water and in noctanol
