Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The flash point was determined with a closed cup tester, according to internationally accepted methods (DIN EN 22719, Pensky-Markens).

The flash point of the Intermediate CHIMEXANE NB/10 was determined above 210°C at 986 mbar.

The data comes from a certificate of analysis, with no experimental details. The purity was not specified. Therefore the result was considered as not assignable.

In accordance with column 2 of REACh Annex VII, the test does not need to be conducted if the estimated flash-point is above 200 °C.

As the flash point of the substance was determined above 210°C using an international guideline, this result was considered in a Weight of Evidence approach.
