Result of the preliminary test:
The water solubility of the test item was estimated to be higher than 1 g/L.
Result of the main test:
The concentration of the test item was measured using an HPLC method. The linearity of the analytical method was proven in the concentration range from 100 to 1000 mg test item/L. The regression coefficient was determined to be 0.9996. The results are shown in the table.

Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- Interpretation of results (migrated information): very soluble (> 10000 mg/L)
The water solubility of DL-Serinmethylester-HCI was calculated to be higher than 588 g/L (mean value, 26 g/L standard deviation) at approx. 20 °C. - Executive summary:
The water solubility of the test item was determined using the flask method in a modified version. The concentration of the test item was determined using HPLC method. The linearity of the analytical method was proven in the concentration range from 100 to 1000 mg test item/L. The regression coefficient was determined to be 0.9996.
