Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
First aid: general information:
Pay attention to self-protection.
Remove victims from hazardous area.
Keep warm, position comfortably, and cover well.
Do not leave affected persons unattended.
First aid inhalation:
Move victims into fresh air.
If the casualty is not breathing: Perform mouth-to-mouth
resuscitation, notify emergency physician immediately.
First aid skin:
Wash off affected area immediately with plenty of water.
Continue decontamination with polyethylene glycol 400 after initial rinsing with water and then wash with water and soap.
If symptoms persist, consult a physician for treatment.
First aid eye:
With eye held open, thoroughly rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes.
Consult an ophthalmologist immediately if the symptoms persist.
First aid ingestion:
Rinse out mouth.
Immediately give large quantities of water to drink.
Consult a physician immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
Suitable: water spray, foam, dry powder
Hazards during fire-fighting:
Hazardous fumes in fires, specific to the product: nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Under certain fire conditions, traces of other toxic products may occur.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions:
Use personal protective equipment.
Environmental Precautions:
Advice: General
Should not be released into the environment.
Methods for cleaning or taking up:
Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust).
Fill into marked, sealable containers.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Fire and explosion protection:
No special precautions required.
Storage requirements:
Advice: Keep container tightly closed.

Disposal considerations
With respect to local regulations, e.g. dispose of to waste incineration plant no waste key number as per the European Waste Types List can be assigned to this product, since such classification is based on the (as yet undetermined) use to which the product is put by the consumer. The waste key number must be determined as per the European Waste Types List (decisionon EU Waste Types List 2000/532/EC) in cooperation with the disposal firm / producing firm / official authority.
