Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eye contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water maintaining eyelids well apart . Take advice of an ophthalmologist .
Skin contact : Remove contamined clothing . Wash affected areas in flowing water or shower for at least 15 mn . If irritation occurs , consult a physician.
Inhalation : Remove to fresh air. Keep warm and at rest .
Fire-fighting measures
Special exposure hazards, combustion products : During fire toxic fumes will be liberated .
Special protective equipment for firefighters : Wear full protective clothing , use a self-contained breathing apparatus
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions : Avoid discharge into sewers and waterways .
Methods for cleaning up : Sweep up spilled material being careful not create dust . Place sweepings in a chemical waste container for disposal
Handling and storage
Handling conditions : As with any industrial chemical substance, ingestion, inhalation and prolonged contact should be avoided by good standards of industrial hygiene and safe working practice. Do not breathe dust.
Storage conditions : Keep away from excessive heat , away from food products . Store in tightly closed containers.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respiratory protection : Atmospheric vapour concentrations must be minimized by adequate ventilation .
Hand protection : Suitable protective gloves
Eye protection : Wear glasses.
Skin protection : Suitable protective clothing is recommended to avoid unnecessary contact .
Exposure limits : not established.
Stability and reactivity
Materials to avoid : Strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products : toxic fumes . Carbon and nitrogen oxides.
Other : stable compound under normal handling conditions.
Disposal considerations
Send to an approved Waste Collector.
Do not discharge into the sewerage system or natural environment.
Empty containers should be taken for local recycling , recovery or waste disposal.
