Registration Dossier

Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If patient not breathing, give

artifical respiration. If breathing is difficult, give

oxygen.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes, seek medical

attention immediately.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water. If symptoms persist, seek medical

attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting, give victim a glass of water.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Suitable extinguishing agents are water spray, dry chemical

or carbon dioxide. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed

containers cool.

Product arising from burning: Combustion products may contain carbon, nitrogen and sulfur

oxides.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up spilt material and package for disposal by

incineration.

Handling and storage

Handling: Wear protective gloves (neoprene or rubber) and clothing.

Goggles or a face shield should be worn. Use process

enclosures and local exhaust ventilation or other

engineering controls to minimise dust levels. If engineering

controls are inadequate, use a NIOSH-approved dust

respirator or one conforming to BS 6016.

Storage: Keep away from oxidising agents, store in a cool place.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Not given, 6th amendment notification.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for reuse is not possible.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: No known chemical treatment.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: A temperature of 1000 deg C should be used to ensure

destruction. Waste gas treatment to remove nitrogen and

sulphur oxides should be used.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery from the intended preparation is not possible.

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable, the preparation has no known hazardous

effects.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: The preparation should be disposed of by incineration.

Articles containing the substance may be disposed of as

domestic waste.
