Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If patient not breathing, give
artifical respiration. If breathing is difficult, give
oxygen.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes, seek medical
attention immediately.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water. If symptoms persist, seek medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting, give victim a glass of water.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Suitable extinguishing agents are water spray, dry chemical
or carbon dioxide. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed
containers cool.
Product arising from burning: Combustion products may contain carbon, nitrogen and sulfur
oxides.

Protective equipment: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up spilt material and package for disposal by
incineration.
Handling and storage
Handling: Wear protective gloves (neoprene or rubber) and clothing.
Goggles or a face shield should be worn. Use process
enclosures and local exhaust ventilation or other
engineering controls to minimise dust levels. If engineering
controls are inadequate, use a NIOSH-approved dust
respirator or one conforming to BS 6016.
Storage: Keep away from oxidising agents, store in a cool place.
