Classification, Labeling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008
The available experimental test data of the substance and the source substance are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. The test item was determined be not readily biodegradable. In the aquatic tests conducted, the test substance showed no toxic effects on the tested species. The determined EC50 and NOEC for daphnia was 100 mg/L (nominal) and for algae was 100 mg/L (nominal) (growth rate). The EC10 (growth rate) for algae was determined to be 100 mg/L (nominal). No effects up to limit of water solubility were observed in fish, resulting in a 96 h LC50 of > 100 mg/L. Based on these results, the substance is not considered to require classification for short-term (acute) and long-term (chronic) aquatic toxicity according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP).
