- The volume of test solution was prepared at 2 L in each test chamber(Ф210x270(mm)). The temperature[21~25 oC(initial temperature of control group±1 °C)], D.O. level(at least 60 % of the air-saturation value) and pH(6.0~8.5) were checked. Ten fish were placed in each chamber for 96 h under the semi-static test. Loading ratio of fish was not exceed 0.8 g fish/liter of solution. During the exposure period, the room was artificially illuminated with fluorescent lighting; 16 h light and 8 h dark cycle.

- Basis for effect:
- mortality (fish)
- Results with reference substance (positive control):
- 96 h LC50(mg/L) = 0.089
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- The fish(Zebrafish, Danio rerio) was exposed to 100.00 mg/L treatment group of the test substance, KF EPIOL-PE311(GPGE), for 96 h under the semi-static test. A control group was also observed during this period. The acute toxicity assessment for fish was performed, and the LC50 was calculated.
As a result of the limit test, the geometric mean measured concentration at 100.00 mg/L were 94.021 mg/L.
These result were 94.0 % of the nominal concentration.
Therefore, all results were determined on the basis of the nominal concentration.
During an exposure period, there was no death in the limit test. Therefore, LC50 was reported as >100.00 mg/L at 48, 96 h after exposure. The highest concentration causing no mortality was reported as 100.00 mg/L at 48, 96 h after exposure, respectively.
