Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If respiratory irritation
develops, call a physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush with large amounts of water for at least
15 minutes, occasionaly lifting the upper and lower eyelids.
Call a physician, if eye irritation develops.
Emergency measure - Skin: Not a skin irritant. Washing any substance off the skin with
water is a good fafety practice.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Immediately drink water to dilute; Consult a physician if
symtoms develop.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Not applicable-choose extinguishing media suitable for
surrounding materials.
Use water to cool containers exposed to fire.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Normal fire fighting equipment and additional respiratory
protection.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Spill mitigation procedures:
Evacuate all non-essential personnel. Hazardous
concentrations in air may be found in local spill area.
Minimize dust formation. Stop source of spill as soon as
possible and notify appropriate personnel.
Air release: dust must be suppressed by the use of water
fog.
Water release: this material is slightly soluble in water.
Notify all down-stream users of possible contamination, to
do so.
Land spill: do not place spill materials back in their
original containers. Containerize and label all spill
material.
Decontaminate all clothig and the spill area using detergent
and flush with large amounts of water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Do not take internally, avoid contact with skin, eyes and
clothing.
Upon contact with skin or eyes, wash off with water.
Avoid inhalation of dust.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well ventillated place.
Avoid all sources of ignition.
Do not store at temperatures above 100'C.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 4-10L glass vessels, "mowpack"
