Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Give the victim rest. If not breathing,
give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult,
give oxygen. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person. Get immediate medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately hold eyelids apart and flush eyes with plenty of
water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention. Remov
e contact lenses if worn.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water
immediately. Get medical attention if irritation develops or
persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Immediately rinse mouth with plenty of water and call a
physician. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by
mouth to an unconscious person.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Use carbon dioxide or dry chemical for small fires, alcohol
resistant foam, universal foam or water spray for large fire
s.
Product arising from burning: May generate HF, NOx or COx when heated to burning.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear suitable
protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Eliminate all ignition source. Consult an expert on the
disposal of recovered material. Ensure disposal is in
compliance with government requirements and ensure
conformity of local disposal regulations. Notify the
appropriate authorities immediately. Take all additional
action necessary to prevent and remedy the adverse effects
of the spill.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash
thoroughly after handling. Wear approved respirator,
protective clothing, safety goggles and chemically
impervious gloves. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not
permit eating, drinking or breathing near the material.
Storage: Store at room temperature, well-ventilated place, away from
sources of heat and direct sunlight. Keep container tightly
closed.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is supplied in double tied polyethylene bags
in drums of 25 kg.
