Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash open eyes with plenty of water (for at least 10
minutes)
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash the affected part(s) with plenty of water
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink plenty of water. Symptomatic treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: All kind of the usual extinguishing agents can be used. The
kind of extinguishing agent should be choosen based on the
surroundings.
Product arising from burning: No dangerous decomposition products known
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self contained breathing apparatus and appropriate clothing
including safety goggles and gloves should be used.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Moisten the dry spillage or cover by using wet inert
material before taking up.
Collect spillage in an appropriate container for
destruction. Residues can be washed off with water.
During handling and disposal of the substance, contact with
skin and eyes should be avoided and - therefore -
appropriate safety goggles and gloves should be used.
Avoid dust formation. Use industrial vacuum cleaner.
Handling and storage
Handling: The usual precautions for the handling with chemicals should
be observed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and wear
suitable safety goggles, gloves and clothing. Avoid dust
formation. In case of dust appropriate filter should then be
used.
Use dust-proof filling/refilling and dosage systems.
Storage: Store at room temperature in original closed containers.
Avoid dust.
Safeguard containers against falling-down.
Avoid product residues on the containers.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: No dangerous reactions known.
Chemical reaction with water: No dangerous reactions observed.
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will be used only in the form of aqueous
solutions. Recovery by evaporisation. (616) Recovery by
filtration. (622)
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: no method available
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: For discharge to the solved substance Ca(OH)2 is added and
the waterinsoluble calcium tungstate can be deposited.
Removal by controlled dumping at a licensed landfill. (650)
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: not applicable
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance should not be discharged into drains.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: Withdrawal by the manufacturer possible after previous
notice. Exhausted solutions will be recycled by the
manufacturer.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: not applicable
