Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
The test item was seen to be a clear amber viscous liquid
Melting/Freezing Point. 9 ± 3 °C (282 ± 3 K)
The test item has been determined to decompose from approximately 151 °C (424 K) at 103 kPa. As a result, no value for the boiling point of the test item could be determined.
The density of the test item has been determined to be 1.02 x 103kg/m3at 20.0 ± 1.0 °C and a relative density of 1.02.
The test item has a vapor pressure of 2.26 x 10-2 Pa at 25oC & 0.984 Pa at 90oC
The partition coefficient of the test item has been determined to be in the range 2.05 x 10E6 to >1.0 x 10E10, log10 Pow 6.31 to >10.0. For 89.4% of the test item, based on area percentage normalisation, the partition coefficient was greater than 1.0 x 10E10, log10 Pow >10.0.
The water solubility of the test item has been determined at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C and a nominal loading rate of 0.1 g/L to be 6.89 x 10-2gTOC/L. Correcting this result to an equivalent concentration of test item (~9.6 x 10-2g/L) suggested the test item essentially fully dissolved/dispersed in water at a nominal 0.1 g/L loading rate.
The surface tension of duplicate dispersions prepared at a nominal 1 g/L in water has been determined to be 41.0 mN/m at 21.5 ± 0.5 °C. The test item was considered to be surface- active.
The critical micelle concentration of the test item at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C was determined to be 0.154 g/L.
The flash point of the test item has been determined to be 231 ± 2 °C
Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases). was found to be 376 ± 5 °C, using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A.15 Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.
Based on the chemical structure of the test item the result for the explosive properties has been predicted negative.
The Oxidising Properties (Liquids). Were predicted negative based on the chemical structure of the test item, using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A.21 Oxidising Properties (Liquids) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.
