First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with excessive amounts of clean water for
at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention in case of
irritating symptoms occur.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove polluted clothing, rinse skin with excessive amount
of water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse the mouth a few times with water, seek medical
attention in case symptoms occur.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Thermal decomposition products:
During heating or in case of fire poisonous and/or corrosive
gases are produced:
Carbon monoxide (CO)
Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear CSPG/Fire-
protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Wear protective equipment (see section 2.3.00). Keep
unprotected persons away. Evacuate the area.
Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep away from ignition
sources. Use only sparkless tools.
· Measures for environmental protection: Do not allow to
enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
· Measures for cleaning/collecting:
Shovel up. Cover the spilled material with a layer of foam
to prevent spreading. Collect spilled material in a suitable
drum and remove it as chemical waste.
Contaminated clothing should be disposed as hazardous waste.
Disposal considerations:
· Product:
· Recommendation
Dispose of as chemical waste. Label with transport symbol
(see section 2.3.30).
· Uncleaned packaging:
· Recommendation:
WSN: 2 8I FUJX, empty, contaminated plastic drums (60-
200ltr).
WSN: 2 8E FUJX, empty, contaminated metal drums (60-200
ltr).
WSN: 2 86 FUJX, empty, contaminated metal or plastic drums
(60 ltr).
Handling and storage
recommended:
Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.
Use only in well ventilated areas.
Keep away from sources of ignition.
Protect against electrostatic discharge.
Local exhaust.
· Personal protective equipment:
· General protective and hygienic measures:
Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Handle
material in accordance with company guidelines.
· Respiratory protection: Filter P2 (in case of dust
generation).
· Protection of hands: Neotop
· Material of gloves: Neoprene.
· Penetration time of glove material: Breakthrough time: >
120 minutes.
· Eye protection: Face shield.
· Body protection: Not required.
Local exhaust
Storage: · Recommendations for storage and storerooms:
Fire protected: Protect from direct sunlight. Dry.
Keep packaging tightly closed.
· Information about storage in one common storage facility:
Store separate from oxidising substances, (very) toxic
substances and corrosive substances.
· Further information about storage conditions: No specific
requirements.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 10 kg anti-static polyethylene bag.
