Any other information on results incl. tables
hatchability of minnow embryos was not significantly affected (P=0.05) The percentage hatchability in individual replicates including controls ranged from 85 -100% with an overall mean of 96.7% . The LOEC for this parameter was, therefore greater than the concentration tested 0.36 mg/l (nominal)
Larval survival was not signifacntly affected (p=0.05) The larval survival for all concentrations ( individual replicates) ranged from 94.1 to 100% with an overall mean of 96.5% based on total number of larvae released by exposure day 5. The LOEC for this parameter was therefore greater than the concentration tested 0.36mg/l
Larval growth in comparison with dilution water controls (pooled) no significant reduction (p=0.05) found in lengths or weights of the larvae at 32 days post hatch
Further tables attached
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- The overall NOEC of test item was > 0.36 mg/l ( nominal concentration and at limit of solubility) - however no toxic effects were observed throughout study
