Additional information

Tests on various terrestrial species (earthworm, collembolen, terrestrial plants and soil microorganisms) have been conducted.

For earthworm, an LC50 of 850 mg/kg dw was calculated for a 14 d exposure duration.

In the study on collembolen (Folsomia candida), the lowest NOEC was found to be 100 mg/kg dw or 320 mg/kg dw for mortality and reproduction, respectively.

For terrestrial plants no effect on seedling and emergence was observed at the highest tested concentration of 100 mg/kg dw.

In the soil microorganisms study, the NOEC is considered to be equal to or greater than 515.4 mg test item/kg soil dry weight.

Thus, the lower NOEC = 100 mg/kg dw will be used to derive a PNECsoil.
