Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No OECD 211-test for the substance itself is available. However, a valid read across to a structurally very similar substance (Decyloxirane) is possible: In a 21-day chronic semi static toxicity study, Daphnia magna were exposed to Decyloxirane at nominal concentrations of 0 (control), 0.07 mg/L, 0.10 mg/L, 0.15 mg/L, 0.22 mg/L and 0.33 mg/L (corresponding to time-weighted measured concentrations of 0 (control), 0.087 mg/L, 0.116 mg/L, 0.196 mg/L, 0.226 mg/L and 0.287 mg/L) in accordance with the OECD 211 guideline. Measured concentrations deviated mostly more than 20% from the nominal concentration. Therefore, results of this study are based on time-weighted mean measured concentrations.

LOEC = 0.116 mg/L

NOEC = 0.087 mg/L

EC10 = 0.091 mg/L

Since the measured concentrations deviated markedly from the nominal concentrations, the effect concentration, which is based on the time-weighted mean measured concentrations should be preferably used for the evaluation of the test substance.
