Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Move to fresh air - If not breathing, give artificial respiration - If breathing is difficult, give oxygen - In case of bluish discoloration (lips, ear lobes, fingernails), give oxygen as quickly as possible - Get medical attention
Skin contact: Wash off with soap and water - Remove contaminated clothing and shoes - Wash contaminated clothing before re-use - Get medical
attention if irritation develops and persists
Eye contact: Flush with plenty of water - If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist
Ingestion: If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting - Consult a physician if necessary
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide (CO2) - Dry powder - Foam - Alcohol-resistant foam - Water mist
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water
Hazardous combustion products: Carbon oxides
Further information: In the event of fire, cool tanks with water spray
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus - Use personal protective equipment
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment
Environmental precautions: Do not contaminate water - Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system - Discharge into the environment
must be avoided
Methods for containment/Methods for cleaning up: Contain spilage, soak up with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth,
diatomaceous earth, vermiculite) and transfer to a container for disposal according to local/national regulations
Additional advice: Remove all sources of ignition - Clean contaminated surface thoroughly - Material can create slippery conditions
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling: Keep container closed when not in use - Do not use pressure to empty drums - Ensure all equipment is electrically grounded
before beginning transfer operations
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering measures: Use with adequate ventilation - Local ventilation is needed in the presence of airborne mists - Ensure that eyewash stations
and safety showers are close to the workstation location
Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields - Tightly fitting safety goggles
Hand protection: Neoprene gloves
Skin and body protection: Impervious clothing
Respiratory protection: Not required under normal use - Breathing apparatus needed only when aerosol or mist is formed - When using this
product at elevated temperatures, wear a respirator with a vapour filter
Hygiene measures: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing - Provide adequate ventilation - Do not breathe dust or spray mist
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid: Heat - High temperatures
Materials to avoid: Strong acids and strong bases
Hazardous combustion products: Carbon oxides
Hazardous reactions: Hazardous polymerisation does not occur - Stable under normal conditions
Disposal considerations
Further information: Dispose of in accordance with the European Directives on waste and hazardous waste
Contaminated packaging: Do not burn, or use a cutting torch on, the empty drum
