Description of key information

Under the test conditions, the biodegradation of the test item reached 6 % at day 28 and 9 %of the ThOD at the end of the extended test (57 days). According to OECD guideline 301, the test item is not readily biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
inherently biodegradable

Additional information

In a closed bottle test conducted according to OECD guideline 301 D biodegradations (ThOD) of the test item of 6% after 28 days and 9% after 57 days were found. An inoculum domestic activated sludge without pre-adaptation to the compound was used. Thus, under the conditions of the test, the test item was not readily biodegradable.
