These data clearly show that reaction mass and its constituents present highly similar physico-chemical properties. This is particularly true for cerium dioxide which is present in the highest quantities in the reaction mass, and for lanthanum oxide. Such an observation supports the relevance of potential read-across with constituents, and notably with cerium dioxide and lanthanum oxide, when data on reaction mass are not available.
